Here are a couple of photos I took this morning on the way to work. This one is a pano stitch of about 24 photos. I love the resolution in it though–with the full res file, I can zoom in and pick out individual gulls on the lake. ...

Last night was Camera 35’s ‘Macro & Close Up Photography’ competition. I had these shots in holding for a while now, but now that the competition is done I can post them here. While they didn’t score as well as I had hoped, I’m happy with the result of each of these three. This is actually three shots of the same match at different points in it’s “life”, stitched together in post....

Because of the high-contrast light that we got the morning we hiked up to the Old Man of Storr, I think most (if not all) of my photos from there work much better in B&W than they do in colour....

This one’s from the last day of the photo tour. I’m not sure what the island is called, but I know we were on the Tokavaig peninsula of the Isle of Skye, right next to Dunscaith Castle....
