One of my first shots with my new Canon 7D, taken last Monday evening during a walk around Quidi Vidi. Notice that all the ducklings are not quite lined up. I guess sometimes it’s hard to get all your ducks in a row, even if you are a duck yourself....

I came across this little bird when I was mowing my lawn. The nest was hidden in the tall grass and I didn’t see it until it flew off, afraid of the weed whacker. Luckily, it came back to the nest and the four eggs left inside....
