This is one of the lion statues outside the Central Post Office in Ottawa, and my first Lensbaby ‘keeper’. (Also my first shot processed with the newly released Lightroom 3.0)...

First post from my trip to Ottawa… Let me start by saying that these colours are essentially what they were out of the camera. I was trying to get some neat shots of clouds reflected in tall buildings while I was in Ottawa. When I looked up at these ones through my polarizer, the one on the left turned red, so I had to stop and shoot it....

I picked up this little guy recently at Toys R Us. He’s called the ‘Traveller’, but I was sold on him when I saw his mini camera. I thought I might start a series of photos of him in different places. I’m not 100% sure how often I’ll do these, but if it becomes a habit, I’ll start numbering them and grouping them together, etc. For his first trip, here are a couple of shots of him in Flatrock....

We went on a photo outing to Topsail Beach with the ‘Drizzle Boys’ from Camera 35 this morning. These are my keepers for the day, including a HDR of the “cave” that was used to trick us into getting up early enough to meet at 8am. ...
